Assistant Principal

We seek an exceptional leader to join our highly functioning leadership team at Mana College.  This is an exciting opportunity to join our school and leadership team and make a lasting contribution to the shared aspiration of the community of Western Porirua, including mana whenua, Ngāti Toa Rangatira.

Our vision for ‘flourishing’ aspires to lead the educational system in New Zealand to provide young people in our community with dynamic, relevant and authentic learning experiences to support their achievement, progress and wellbeing. 

For us, leadership is critical to achieve this vision and purpose, particularly around excellence and equity. This particular leadership position will be responsible for ensuring effective coherent organizational conditions are set, promoting school evaluation, inquiry and knowledge building aligned with the school’s vision, values and goals. However, some areas of responsibility will be confirmed based on the strengths of the successful candidate.
