Willow Park School is a thriving, diverse primary school on Auckland’s North Shore, which prides itself on continuing to grow with its ever evolving local community.

Our school vision is kia poipoi, kia tipu, kia puāwai - we nurture, we grow, we flourish. This is an opportunity to join an exciting and forward-thinking staff who are dedicated to making our tamariki the very best they can be.

Willow Park School is well resourced, with a fully supportive board, impressive leadership team and dedicated teaching staff; all committed to meaningful engagement with parents, whānau and the wider community.

Our consistently high achievement levels are driven by a commitment to an evidence-informed curriculum that provides children with the opportunity to learn through play, and to be active, engaged learners through inquiry.  Willow Park School has been a leading school implementing structured literacy for the last 4 years, and continues to work with Learning Matters, currently involved in writing professional development. Other areas of growth and development are mathematics, assessment, and the development of te ao Māori.

We are looking for an experienced teacher to open our final new entrant class for 2024 and to join a thriving new entrant/Y1 teaching team.
