If you are a passionate, positive and personable teacher keen to make 'big school' magical for our youngest learners, then we'd love to have you join our team!

The ideal candidate will be able to:

• Provide a welcoming learning environment where students are engaged in learning activities to support a smooth transition into school life.
• Guide and support students as they adjust to school routines.
• Assist students in building 'big school' confidence, including managing emotions and forming positive relationships with their peers.

What we do to support our new entrant teachers:

• Provide a paid teacher transition period to learn the ropes and shadow another teacher before opening your own class
• Allocate a professional ‘buddy’ to provide daily support.
• Provide extra classroom release time to get planning support from your buddy.
• Plan school visits so you can meet your new students before their official start date.
• Value the skills and knowledge you bring to our school.
