If you are a passionate, positive and personable teacher keen to make 'big school' magical for our youngest learners, then we'd love to have you join our team!
The ideal candidate will be able to:
Provide a welcoming learning environment where students are engaged in learning activities to support a smooth transition into school life.
Guide and support students as they adjust to school routines.
Assist students in building 'big school' confidence, including managing emotions and forming positive relationships with their peers.
What we do to support our new entrant teachers:
Provide a paid teacher transition period to learn the ropes and shadow another teacher before opening your own class
Allocate a professional ‘buddy’ to provide daily support.
Provide extra classroom release time to get planning support from your buddy.
Plan school visits so you can meet your new students before their official start date.
Value the skills and knowledge you bring to our school.
Our school is invested in our amazing learners; well-resourced and organised; and focused on nurturing, enabling and empowering teachers to be effective educators and leaders.
Our staff are supportive, collaborative and friendly; passionate and enthusiastic; and encouraged to inquire and improve.
Our students are polite, considerate and sensible; settled and focused on learning; and always ready to put a smile on your face!
