2025 learning leader / senior teacher (2 positions)

Come and join our great team. We are an awesome school, hidden away in Papatoetoe. Our school is culturally diverse, welcoming, and well resourced.

We are looking for two enthusiastic leaders to become an integral part of our school community and leadership team. These positions include teaching and leading. Each position will be a permanent role to start term 1, 2025. We require one Learning Leader for Y1-3 and one learning leader for Y4-6. These positions are due to roll growth and restructuring. 

Our Learning Leaders play a pivotal role in promoting our school’s vision and values, enhancing student development and achieving the very best for everyone . We are looking for someone who is motivated to make a difference for our students, our staff and our whānau through positive relationships and contributing to the day-to-day functioning and vision of our school.

The ideal person will be: 

• Visible and approachable, value community and embrace opportunities to support others
• A collaborative, innovative team member who has a sense of fun and energy
• An educational leader who is successful at building relationships and supporting teachers to meet the needs of all learners
• Work in collaboration with others to provide effective, targeted support for students with a range of learning support needs
• A leader with a desire to grow and support te ao Māori and the multicultural uniqueness of our school 
• Committed to supporting and developing opportunities for students to learn, experience and explore the curriculum 
• Experienced as a highly capable teacher with an openness to new learning.
