Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura) is New Zealand's largest school with a roll of up to 24,000 ākonga (students) at any point of time. We provide personalised learning programmes from early childhood to NCEA Level 3.

Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this position
We are looking for a creative, innovative (Primary) Kaiako (teacher) who’s a subject expert in Y1–10 to join our team either in Nelson, Wellington, Palmerston North or New Plymouth. There are three positions available.
Kaiako (Teacher) at Te Kura engage with our ākonga (students) online and face-to-face at huinga ako (advisories) and events, and also work onsite with colleagues in our regional offices. Te Kura aims to provide flexible working arrangements, so Kaiako are able to request to work from home for up to two days per week.

It is essential that you have a sound knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and assessment requirements and are willing to learn, innovate, work collaboratively and build effective relationships.
You'll be future orientated and understand how the use of technology, together with your enthusiasm, vision and commitment improves education outcomes for all our students, Māori and Pasifika learners in particular.
