An exciting opportunity exists for a successful practicing teacher to move into the role of leading a well-established whānau. The applicant must be able to bring people together in a way that supports our school's values and a commitment to bringing positivity and energy to our students, staff, and the wider community. You will be teaching a Y3–4 class as well as leading the Y3–4 whanau of 4 classes.

Positive growth mindset in leadership
Positive growth mindset in teaching te reo Māori and Te Ao Māori
Experience in leading pedagogical change effectively
The ability to implement the school's collaborative strategic goals
Strong working knowledge of visible learning and assessment for learning and the ability to lead this effectively within their whānau
A balanced approach to school and home relationships – positive relationships with families and the community
A desire to grow in their leadership role by taking professional development opportunities as they arise and setting high expectations for themselves
Fully support the senior leadership team and add to the positive culture of the school
A sense of humour and the ability to be flexible and enjoy making a difference.
