Join a supportive team to deliver high quality learning support approaches in four wonderful small schools on the West Coast. Our ideal candidate is highly professional, organised, and an effective communicator, who has a genuine heart for learners. Proven experience working with students and their whānau/families with additional learning needs is a must, as is the ability to connect with diverse school communities.

Our LSC will lead a team of dedicated learning assistants and contribute to the pastoral care team. They will liaise with teachers, students, whānau/families, MOE, specialist support agencies and services, Oranga Tamariki, other LSC, and RTLB to bring appropriate services to our learners in a timely and efficient manner.

John Paul II High School is a Catholic school, and supporting the Catholic character is a condition of appointment.

We wish the successful applicant to start ASP, ideally at the beginning of term 4, 2024.
