We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Y1 teacher to join our junior team for term 4. This position is working with our older Year 1s.  

Our junior area of the school have a focus on play based learning for part of the day, along with BSLA as the approach to literacy. Experience in BSLA would be advantageous but support can be given if this is new to the successful applicant. 

The successful candidate will:

- have high expectations

- build strong, learning focused relationships with students, staff and whānau

- be culturally responsive

- be able to contribute positively to the team and wider school

- have the ability to run an effective junior programme
