Y5–6 team leader

We are seeking a hardworking, experienced, collaborative leader with outstanding relationship skills to join our leadership team as Y5 and 6 team leader from the start of the 2025 school year.

We are looking to appoint the right person, who will thrive within our experienced leadership team, where they will be supported by a collaborative, hardworking staff, and a committed and supportive board, in an exceptionally well resourced school. This position will have teaching responsibilities with release.

This position attracts 3 management units. The successful applicant will have strong communication and organisational skills, up to date pedagogical knowledge, and will be able to develop effective relationships with staff, tamariki and whānau. A strength in establishing positive rapport, and being able to effectively manage challenging behaviour is an important part of the role.
