Hauraki Plains College is ‘More Than a School’. We offer an exceptional educational experience, where our young people are nurtured, inspired and empowered to achieve highly and be strong in this world.

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Spanish and social sciences teacher to join us. Currently we offer te reo Māori classes at each year level, and we would like to do the same with Spanish. This is an exciting opportunity to grow language learning at our school. The Spanish teaching component will likely not be full-time to start with (until numbers grow) so please state your other teaching strengths and interests.

As we head into the summer sports season, we are seeking coaches for our sports teams. We are hoping to attract teaching applicants who are willing to support the extracurricular activities offered at HPC. Please let us know what sports you are willing to coach and at what level.

Our school promotes and enjoys a collaborative and supportive culture where we are committed to ‘Excellence is Our Tradition’. We are undertaking professional development of all staff with a particular focus on school wide literacy and numeracy.

This is a full-time, permanent position, with a flexible start date. Ideally we would like applicants to start at the beginning of term 4.

For more information contact Sharon Moller, Principal.
