Active Explorers Melville, a purpose-built childcare centre located in the heart of Hamilton, is looking for a kind, caring and nurturing ECE teacher to join our over 2 area. 

At Active Explorers Melville, we are committed to providing a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment for our tamariki. Our centre is conveniently located near Waikato Hospital and has easy access to local schools. We have a spacious natural outdoor environment with an awesome vegetable garden that supplies our chef with ingredients for home-cooked meals. 

We run a school readiness program to ensure our tamariki are ready to flourish at school and support them to become lifelong learners. Here at Active Explorers, we love to explore and get messy! What we're looking for in you:

• You hold an ECE qualification and current full or provisional ECE teaching registration in Aotearoa.
• You have passion for your community, you are fun-loving and you are committed to your professional practice.
• You are nurturing and strive to provide quality outcomes for Tamariki.
• You hold strong Te Whāriki curriculum knowledge and a deep understanding of ECE regulations.
