Role overview: We seek an enthusiastic and experienced physical education teacher / sports to participate in our sports program. This role involves teaching PE across various year levels, developing and implementing sports programs, and fostering a culture of physical activity and sportsmanship aligned with our Christian values. You will also work with our top athletes and sporting codes for the winter tournament.
You will inspire students to achieve their best in sports, promote a healthy lifestyle, and integrate Christian values into all activities.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee and deliver engaging PE lessons for students.
Foster a positive and inclusive sports culture.
Encourage students' creativity and problem-solving abilities.
Assess and report on students' progress.
Uphold and promote the Christian values of our school community.
Qualifications and experience:
A relevant teaching qualification and current NZ teacher registration.
Proven experience in sports coaching and education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
A commitment and passion for Christian education.
