St Patrick’s College Silverstream seeks a secondary teacher specialising in media studies and English. This position plays a crucial role in shaping the minds of young learners, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a deep understanding of language and media.  You will inspire students to analyse media content critically, understand its influence on society, and express their ideas clearly and confidently through written and oral communication. You would be responsible for developing engaging lesson plans that align with the New Zealand Curriculum, utilising various teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.  

Beyond classroom instruction, you will collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience that supports student development including extracurricular activities, and our special character being a Marist Catholic School for boys.
