Teacher

We have an exciting opportunity for a teacher to join our teaching staff.  With one of our teachers heading overseas, the position will begin at the start of term 4. 

We welcome all teachers with a current practising certificate or any teachers who will complete their degrees at the end of the year to apply for this position.  We are willing to work with you and your university to assist you in achieving your degree and also teach a class in term 4.  All unregistered teachers will be paid on the Limited Authority to Teach scale until the end of the year.  

The successful candidate will be able to teach a Y3–4 class for the rest of the year and then negotiate with the school for learning levels moving forward.  We are a well-resourced school with 1:1 devices, an indoor swimming pool, covered court areas, and upgraded classroom teaching spaces. We also house our technology department for TECH. The candidate must be confident in using the Google platform. With internationally recognised teaching practices, you will join a team of practitioners who are passionate about learning.  Our experienced management team will support any experienced teachers or beginning teachers in the school environment.  We teach in single-cell spaces but collaboratively plan and share resources, reducing workload.  We provide quality professional development from providers such as iDeal and Writers Toolbox.
