Key responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction in English and social sciences to students within the secondary school.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and create interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and respect.
• Incorporate Christ-centred values and teachings into the curriculum and classroom environment.

Qualifications and experience:

• A relevant teaching qualification and current NZ teacher registration.
• Strong knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and the NZQA framework.
• Proven experience teaching English and social sciences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
• A commitment and passion for Christian education.

Eligibility:

Only applicants who can legally live and work in New Zealand, with either NZ residency or a valid work visa, will be considered.
