Gisborne Boys’ High School is a boys-only, state, Y9 to 13 secondary school situated in the east coast city of Gisborne, in the Tairawhiti region. The 800 boys enjoy a positive culture based on a shared sense of connection and belonging.
The school is looking for a motivated, dedicated and innovative leader/teacher to join our Senior Leadership Team in a new role of operational manager. The operational manager will take a full part in the Senior Leadership Team sharing in the generic responsibilities.
The operational manager role will include the following school areas: Kamar oversight and timetable, health and safety (including EOTC, property and hazards and administration of health and safety), communications – growing and improving our communication platforms. The role will also include 1 teaching line/block (4 hours).
The role will also include some BOT project areas, such as property projects and administration, a new lunch and cafe format, hostel development, old boys' network and Building Academy. The role and projects will depend on the successful applicant’s skills and strengths.
