Assistant head of mathematics

We are seeking an inspiring and collaborative teacher of mathematics to join our team from the beginning of the 2025 academic year. We seek an applicant with strong classroom and relational practice and familiarity with mathematical pedagogy. The successful candidate will be an experienced Mathematics teacher able to assume responsibilities to assist the Head of Mathematics. We have a well resourced and well led department and look forward to an experienced maths teacher to assist in the strong leadership of this team. An ability to teach all levels and strands of mathematics preferred. 

Palmerston North Girls’ High School is the only state girls’ secondary school in the Manawatū. We have outstanding NCEA results and work within a Culturally Responsive and Relational Framework. Our staff provide high quality education with a strong focus on valued educational outcomes for young women.
