We are seeking an inspiring and collaborative teacher of mathematics to join our team from the beginning of the 2025 academic year. We seek an applicant with strong classroom and relational practice and familiarity with mathematical pedagogy. This position is suitable for beginning teachers or those returning to the classroom. We have a well resourced and well led Maths department with plenty of support available. There is a particular focus on junior mathematics (Y9 to 11) within this role with the ability to move into Y12 and/or 13 over time.
Palmerston North Girls’ High School is the only state girls’ secondary school in the Manawatū. We have outstanding NCEA results and work within a Culturally Responsive and Relational Framework. Our staff provide high quality education with a strong focus on valued educational outcomes for young women.
