Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of our students with diverse learning needs? We are seeking a leader of inclusive learning to join our forward thinking, supportive and collaborative kura.
The successful applicant will:
Lead and support a team of inclusive learning assistants and learning support coordinators
Support students through building an inclusive kura, where all students participate, progress and make successful transitions
Collaborate with kaiako to lift their capability to better meet the needs of learners
Support whānau to partner successfully with our kura
Work with our leadership team and other agencies to ensure all tamariki receive the appropriate support to enhance their learning and progress
Plan programmes for learners outside our regular learning programmes to meet the needs of diverse learners
Work with teachers to adapt classroom teaching resources.
If you are passionate about inclusive education in a collaborative environment and have successful experience in working with and including tamariki with learning support needs in the classroom.
