Qualified and registered kaiako

The Point, based in a quiet converted villa in Point Chevalier, is looking for a qualified kaiako to join our close-knit, experienced and nurturing Infants and Toddler team.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we believe the environment is the third teacher, with beautiful native trees covering our large, sunny outdoor areas. We work hard to incorporate nature throughout the centre to provide bright and welcoming learning spaces. Our passion for creativity is reflected in the artwork that adjourns our walls. We work closely with our children and their whānau to build strong, trusting relationships that allow us to deliver individualised, dedicated care and learning.

With a newly-built, innovative infants space we provide exceptional ratios of 1:3.5 within a cohesive and friendly team. Our outdoor space encourages connections between our youngest children and the older children and fosters a communicative and shared working environment for our teachers.
