Kerikeri Kindergarten teams practice is grounded in the knowledge that children are capable, competent, and powerful, and arrive at kindergarten with inherent mana and mauri. Kerikeri Kindergarten are Green Gold Enviroschools leaders in the Early Years network and run a weekly Ngahere Programme.
Kerikeri Kindergarten will have a team of 5 teachers and part-time administrator. The kindergarten operates five 6-hour sessions Monday to Friday, catering for a roll of 40 children between two and six years of age. Kerikeri Kindergarten operates an All-Year Model.
Kerikeri Kindergartenis part of a network of 25 kindergartens within the NKA. The kindergarten is supported by a professional practice and management team. Northland Kindergarten Association adheres to the employment conditions as offered in the Kindergarten Teacher, Head Teachers and Senior Teachers Collective Agreement 2023–2026.
Applicants must hold a recognised New Zealand ECE qualification (minimum Dip Teaching ECE), current practicing certificate and first aid certificate.
