An opportunity has arisen for a passionate and future-focused leader to join our diverse mathematics faculty. 

The successful applicant will have:

  • Skill and enthusiasm to lead the implementation of a curriculum that develops 21st Century capabilities with learners
  • Be progressive, collegial and able to collaborate with other curriculum leaders and teachers in the development of cross-curricular programmes of learning that engage diverse learners.

The college caters for students in Mid Canterbury with a roll of 1,350. We are forward-thinking and in the process of redesigning learning experiences for our students. Over the coming years there is forecast roll growth as well as major rebuild work. This is an exciting time to join the school and be a part of curriculum change at Ashburton College.

We are a PB4L and Restorative Practices school and currently working to enhance culturally responsive and relational practices. We are proud to be a participating member of the Hakatere Kāhui Ako.
