St Pius X is a state integrated Catholic school for Y1- 6 learners. We are looking for a collaborative, enthusiastic and experienced teacher and leader who will be an integral part of the staff and forward thinking leadership team. This role includes a teaching component covering CRT but not a responsibility for a class of learners.
We are looking for an educator who:
Upholds the vision, values and strategic aims for the learners of St Pius X School
Brings an understanding of cultural capabilities, culturally responsive practice and commitment to giving effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
Able to lead the facilitation of support for learners with additional needs in the role of SENCO
Is an innovative and forward-thinking educator
Builds strong relationships with learners, staff, whānau and the wider community
Is open, approachable and consultative with staff, developing and maintaining excellent professional relationships
Has effective organisational and communication skills
Demonstrates excellent pedagogical and curriculum knowledge
Has the ability to work within a collaborative leadership model, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow as a leader.
