At Te Kura o Ruataniwha Kaiapoi North School, the learning support coordinator (LSC) is part of the Lead Team (DPs and principal), and the wider Leadership Team – collaborating closely to support our children, parents and staff.
Accordingly the LSC position is awarded 2 permanent management units. These 2 units are to recognise the important role the LSC plays in supporting our children, parents, teachers, teacher aides, international students and the Lead Team in key roles such as:
Supporting children requiring additional support to tier 1 teaching
Liaising with support agencies and applying for additional support
Leading a dedicated learning support team
Supporting our ORS students
Supporting the pastoral care of our students.
We are looking for a person committed to teaching, a positive and genuine person, and a person with a desire to work collaboratively with a team to make a real difference for the children of Te Kura o Ruataniwha Kaiapoi North School.
