Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Deputy principal
English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts 4PMU
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our amazing school community and join our Senior Leadership Team. The advertised position has become available as we farewell Whaea Leigh Cowan, our current longstanding deputy principal, as she steps into new adventures in her retirement.
Our new appointment will be someone who wants to have a positive impact on tamariki, kaimahi and whānau. We are proud of our Green/Gold Enviroschool status and we want a deputy principal that will help us develop this special character further. We are in an exciting position as we develop our local curriculum informed by the Ngāti Kauwhata Education Plan in consultation with our school community. The deputy principal will be ready and willing to support and lead in the development of this kaupapa. Our new deputy principal will be an excellent teaching practitioner, a team player, ready and willing to work together with myself and our other deputy principal/SENCO and our wider middle leadership rōpū.
