Y2 classroom teacher

We are seeking a collaborative, passionate and innovative teacher with strong relationship skills to join our Y2 team from 19 August 2024. We are able to negotiate the start date for the successful candidate. 

Our school has a strong sense of community. We have approximately 320 students who are well supported by our dedicated staff and whānau. The successful applicant will be:

• able to provide rich and authentic learning opportunities in a supportive, engaging  environment
• able to demonstrate inclusive practice when working with students with diverse needs
• relationship-focused with the ability to engage and collaborate with learners, staff, whānau and the wider community.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the relevant collective agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $59,027 to $99,216, depending on applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
