Are you passionate about te reo Mᾱori and committed to fostering its growth and development? Whanganui Girls' College is seeking a dedicated kaiako from 2025 to lead our te reo Mᾱori department and enrich our kura with your expertise in Tikanga and te reo.

The successful applicant will:
Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in te reo Mᾱori.
Have experience and understanding of teaching NCEA standards.
Have a familiarity and understanding of PB4L and restorative practices.
Be able to work collaboratively within a supportive staff environment.
Be working in our brand wharenui (Poutamatia).
Collaborate closely with local iwi to enrich cultural learning experiences.
Receive one management unit to continue to lead and grow te reo Mᾱori.
