Harvest Christian School is seeking a passionate, caring, highly effective teacher to join our dedicated team at Harvest Christian School for the remainder of 2024. We are a state-integrated Christian School located in the beautiful Bay of Islands.

As a board-funded role, this is fixed-term until the end of 2024, however the opportunity for a permanent position is likely to emerge in 2025 as the school roll increases. Harvest was a newly established school in 2022 and this position has become available through our move into our brand new purpose-built facility in Waipapa.

As a successful applicant, you will have an excellent understanding of teaching and learning and have the ability to make learning engaging, relevant and fun. You will demonstrate a willingness to grow and develop your pedagogy, and will work in a collaborative way to help develop the many routines and systems required to help establish a rapidly growing school on a new campus. You will have the ability to build positive relationships and partnerships with students, colleagues, whānau and our wider school community, and you will have a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the school. An important condition of employment is to uphold and support our special Christian character, including how this translates to supporting and growing our students’ faith.  You will enjoy contributing and promoting a biblical worldview through your teaching, and you will protect and enhance our Christian character.
