Technology teacher

Permanent full-time technology teacher – please state subject specialism

We are seeking a talented, innovative and flexible technology teacher who can contribute to a vibrant, successful, well-resourced and cohesive Technology Department. The ability to teach subject specialisms to Senior/Scholarship level is essential, as is a willingness to contribute to the teaching of other learning areas in the department such as, DVC, materials technology and/or digital technology, in Y7 to 10. Please state other supporting subject areas you are able to teach. A commitment to the special character and values of the college is required, as is an involvement in the ongoing whole college professional development programmes.

Start date negotiable either term 4, 2024 or term 1, 2025.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement (CA) https://www.education.govt.nz/school/people-and-employment/employment-agreements/collective-agreements/secondary-teachers-collective-agreement/  The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $ 59,027 - $99,216 depending on applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individuals’ actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
