About us:

Future Focus Pāpāmoa Beach, our flagship centre established in 2019, is a cornerstone of our community, nestled near the beautiful Pāpāmoa Beach. We merge culture, community, and high-quality, meaningful experiences, embracing tamariki's curiosity with an empathetic and nurturing approach. We celebrate the individual strengths of each tamaiti, encouraging them to stand strong in their mana and contribute to the collective.

Te Whāriki lies at the heart of our educational philosophy. We believe every tamaiti has immense potential, which we nurture through personalized, responsive education. Our strong sense of whanaungatanga and manaakitanga ensures tamariki and their whānau feel a sense of belonging in our community.

Who we seek:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated fully registered kaiako to join our over-twos team. The ideal candidate will deeply appreciate Te Whāriki and have experience in its practical implementation. You should excel in whakawhanaungatanga, collaboration, respectful practice, and communication, creating deep, meaningful connections with whānau, tamariki, and kaiako. A passion for Te Ao Māori and cultural inclusivity is essential.

Key responsibilities:

- Build strong, trusting relationships with tamariki and their whānau.
- Lead the teaching team, fostering professional growth and mentoring.
- Cultivate deep connections with a diverse range of children, building a strong sense of learner identity.
- Weave Te Whāriki throughout daily practices, creating a curriculum rich in opportunities and intention.

Benefits:

- Picturesque location near Pāpāmoa Beach.
- Supportive, fun, and nurturing work environment.
- Opportunities for professional development and growth.
- Full-time position: Monday to Friday.

Desired qualifications:

- NZ fully registered teacher.
- Experience working with over-twos.
- Passion for Te Ao Māori and cultural inclusivity.

If you are a natural leader committed to high-quality early childhood education and excited about making a difference in the lives of our tamariki, we would love to hear from you.
