At Capital Montessori School, we believe in the unique potential that lies in all children. We provide an inclusive early learning environment that supports each child’s being, belonging and becoming as we nurture learners for life. For over thirty years, CMS has delivered an authentic, high-quality Montessori preschool programme for children aged 3–6 and a playgroup for 0-3 year olds. 

As a not-for-profit, parent-run cooperative led by a Principal and an elected Board of Trustees, we are proud of the community and space we have created, and we strive to ensure we place each child’s outcome at the heart of everything we do.

CMS is seeking a new Principal with teaching and leadership experience in Aotearoa New Zealand to oversee the management of the school and learning environment, embracing the AMI philosophy. This is a fixed-term contract covering parental leave from September 2024 to December 2025.
