Job description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced visiting teacher to join our team. As a visiting teacher, you will be responsible for providing educational support to tamariki, educators in their homes or in other settings. You will work closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one educational support to students in their homes or in other settings
• Develop and implement individualised educational plans in collaboration with parents, caregivers, and other professionals
• Monitor student progress and adjust educational plans as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure that students receive consistent support
• Maintain accurate records of tamariki progress and educational plans.. more.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
• Experience working with students in a home-based setting (not applicable) 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Full drivers license.
