Teacher of humanities

Permanent, full-time (start term 1, 2025).

We are looking for a team-focused and energetic teacher to join the Humanities Department from 2025. The successful candidate will be trained in junior social studies and at least one specialist senior subject that sits within the te ao tangata/social sciences domain. Please state specialist subjects. 

You will be relationship-focused and committed to equitable outcomes for our ākonga and participate in our Professional Development programmes that support Relationship Based Learning (RbL).  

Candidates with experience teaching in a NZ secondary school are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be someone who embraces the NCEA change process with the focus on the NZ history refresh. 

There is as an expectation of involvement in extracurricular activities on offer at the college.
