Teacher - Auckland West Unit (Grafton)

Seeking experience working with NCEA level students plus good understanding of NCEA at all levels. Strong curriculum knowledge in NCEA maths an advantage, but not essential.

Confident teaching online. Ability to speak te reo Māori and/or connections with local iwi highly valued.

Recent experience teaching the New Zealand Curriculum preferred. 

Fixed-term (Full-time or part-time).

We invite applications from fully registered teachers with knowledge of the NZ school curriculum to join our Auckland West teaching team based in Grafton.

We provide education and transition support for Y0-14 students whilst ill health prevents them attending their regular school.  We are therefore keen to hear from teachers with flexibility and empathy, and an ability to adapt teaching to the unique needs of the individual student. Ability to speak te reo Māori and/or connections with local iwi highly valued.

Northern Health School is a Ministry of Education funded school. School management and administration is predominantly based in Auckland with school units in centres throughout the north island from Kaitaia to Gisborne, Taupo and Taranaki.
