Albany Junior High School (AJHS) is a Y7-10 middle school on Auckland’s North Shore, providing a personalised, future focused and strength-based literacy programme for adolescent tamariki. We serve a diverse community who grow and develop through our learning and extracurricular opportunities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and inspiring teacher to join our social studies faculty, offering a flexible start date during term 3. This position is suitable for primary school teachers who are interested in developing their teaching practice with Y7-10 students.

AJHS operates under the PPTA, Secondary School Collective Agreement which offers 5 non-contact hours per week, with engaged mentoring and leadership support.
All applicants must be engaged with the New Zealand Curriculum, be open to learning and adaptable in a changing environment, be eligible to work in New Zealand and hold a current New Zealand teachers registration.
