Long Bay College is a co-educational secondary school located in a peaceful location near Long Bay Beach and the new Long Bay Village. The school opened in 1975 and has approximately 1800 students with 150 teaching and support staff combined.

We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and pedagogically strong teacher to join our Faculty of English in term 1, 2025, in a permanent full-time position.

A familiarity with cognitive science-based approaches and their application to the classroom would be indicative of a strong fit with our faculty and whole school educational philosophy.

Our English programmes are geared to support high academic achievement across our courses.

Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, starting rate of $56,027 and top rate of $99,216 (plus allowances if relevant). Hours of work are set out in Section 11.2 of the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement.
