Inspiring academic excellence, leadership and a love of learning. Hillmorton High School is a diverse urban coeducational school situated in the South-West of Christchurch. The school is a fast growing Y7–13 school with dedicated middle and senior schools. We have a roll of around 1300 and with further building works underway, the roll is expected to increase in the next few years.  

Commencing term 3, 2024 we have a vacancy for a motivated textiles teacher who is passionate about teaching textiles technology. There is a possibility of this role increasing to full-time in 2025 with growth of the subject or with teaching food and nutrition or other subjects.

We provide students with a caring and supportive environment. The successful Kaiako will be committed to academic and vocational success and enhancing student outcomes. The ideal applicant will have proven expertise in culturally responsive and relational pedagogy.
