We are Clayton Park School, located in Wattle Downs, Manurewa. We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher with a learning mindset. Candidates with recent successful teaching experience in a NZ primary school are encouraged to apply. This is a classroom release teacher position and is available from term 3.

As you will work the same hours as the regular classroom teacher, you will have access to relevant PLD and work across different teams to ensure planning and delivery expectations are consistent. You will assist teachers where you spend the most time providing release with assessments and reports.

Should there be a need, we would anticipate you would be enthusiastic about providing longer term cover for teachers who may take longer term leave.

The teacher we seek would operate within the same expectations as our teachers with fulltime responsibilities and be a flexible team player.

Ability to work comfortably within a Rūmaki and bilingual environment is an advantage. Those who can comfortably provide release across the levels of Y0–8 is an advantage although we have other release teachers who specialise in that space too.
