About us:
House of Wonder Cambridge is a beautiful centre providing tamariki with endless possibilities for exploration, creativity, and problem-solving. In our Reggio Emilia-inspired environment, our physical spaces are carefully designed to provoke curiosity, creativity, and engagement. Our Kaiako act as facilitators, observing and documenting children's interests and ideas, and then using those observations to guide further learning experiences. We love being apart of our community and going on regular excursions to places such as ST Andrews Resthome, Cambridge Library, House of Wonder Vegetable Garden and more!
Our ideal candidate will have:
Huge reserves of enthusiasm and energy
Competency in planning, curriculum and regular and emergent reviews
A personality that builds and develops strong relationships with staff and parents/ whānau
An ECE or Primary teacher qualification and registration as an ECE teacher in New Zealand
A nurturing, caring disposition, and passion for supporting young children to thrive
