Head of speech and drama

We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and inspiring head of speech and drama to lead our programme. The role will be overseeing and managing the team of tutors working with you, delivery of the Speech and Drama curriculum at St Peter’s, producing student showcase, and external exam liaison. Regular and positive communication with student, parent, staff and community is required.

St Peter’s is one of New Zealand’s leading independent secondary schools, providing a first-class education for 1200 students, including co-educational boarding for 320 students from New Zealand and around the world. St Peter’s is more than a school, sitting on 250 acres, that includes an expansive demonstration dairy farm, equestrian centre, golf driving range, swim school and more, all providing an inspirational experience and transformative environment for the school and wider community. 

The role is well resourced and is supported by the Performing Arts Faculty staff and administration. You will be expected to support and contribute to the Performing Arts curriculum and co-curricular programmes and events. Please state your performing arts strength and experience.
