Art teacher (2 positions)

We seek two innovative and enthusiastic teachers of visual arts to join our high performing team in 2024, or at the start of 2025 by negotiation. A Management Unit can be available for the right applicant by negotiation.   

• We seek a visual arts design specialist, with the ability to teach using the suite of Adobe Creative software. If you have skill and experience in moving image, this is an advantage.  The ability to teach a range of skills and disciplines is desirable. 
• Our Maaori and art departments are opening up a new pathway in Maaori visual arts practice and Ngaa Toi, beginning at junior through to senior levels. We therefore seek a visual art teacher who would like to lead forward in this area. You will be a team player and a creative and confident practitioner with the ability and desire to teach at both junior and senior level.  You will be a culturally responsive practitioner who prioritises student interest and works collaboratively in the department as we move through a process of curriculum refresh.
