As the fixed term principal, you will:  

• be central to the ongoing school transformation, leading the board and community in reviewing and developing our school education vision and strategic plan 

• lead our school as we move from a compliance focus into a developmental phase  

• work alongside a passionate BOT, committed to lifting the achievement of every student  

• enjoy leading a new team of teachers from both inside and outside the Gloriavale community. The teaching team are hungry to learn and develop their teaching practice  

• have the time to inspire the school team in their professional journey as there is no teaching component to the role 

• support and grow relationships with external providers to enhance school development and success 
• access school accommodation, flexible work hours, and mentorship from an experienced NZ principal. 

Gloriavale Christian School is a faith based private school and follow the NZ curriculum.  The principal will accept and recognise a responsibility to uphold the special character of the school.  There is no requirement for the principal to hold any specific religious beliefs.
