Teacher – Whānau Manaaki Kindergartens

Una Williams Kindergarten is a full year – school day kindergarten and is placed to the east side of the central township of Masterton. Connections to local schools, and Kura are maintained. It has a large inviting natural outdoor environment and spacious building.  The open spaces and onsite community garden provide ongoing learning opportunities for sustainability. 
  
Manaakitanga is the overarching value of Una Williams. As a kindergarten we acknowledge and respect our dual heritage through regular use of Te Reo Māori and respectful practices. We embrace cultural diversity, forging strong links to strengthen our relationships within our community, including Pacific.  The community are actively involved in excursions and social events, supporting teachers in the programme. 
 
We are licensed for 40 children who attend for 6 hours each day.  You will join our team of 4 other teachers.

This is a fixed-term role to cover leave at this kindergarten commencing 22 July 2024 and 4 July 2025.
