Guidance counsellor ( 2 positions)

Ormiston Senior College is a rapidly growing school for Y11-13 students in Flat Bush, Auckland. We are currently looking for two counsellors to join our Health Center team.

We are seeking qualified and experienced counsellors, who have a proven understanding of working with and advocating for our rangatahi. These positions will report directly to the Senior Leader of Wellbeing while also working in partnership with pastoral leaders and Health Centre staff. The successful applicant should be a full member of NZAC or working towards full membership. 

Our school and students proudly reflect the diverse community of Flat Bush.  We are looking for counsellors who can work in a culturally responsive and collaborative way with whānau, staff and external agencies and who are committed to supporting our students in their mental health and wellbeing. Therefore; an ability to speak more than one language would be an advantage but not a necessity. 

Starting date and hours by negotiation, but available immediately.
