Job Vacancy – East Auckland

Permanent, full-time position. 

Trinity Kindergarten is a private Christian kindergarten with strong links to the Trinity Methodist Church. The centre is located in Pakuranga, Auckland.  We are a Christian centre, therefore the person we employ would need to be able to support our philosophy on teaching the children from a Christian perspective. We thrive on our special Christian character. It’s all about God’s love! 

We are looking for a motivated and energetic ECE registered educator, who is passionate about learning through play (play-based teaching and learning).  A good understanding of the ECE curriculum, planning and documenting children’s learning with online portfolios is essential. We are a dynamic team and work closely with our whānau/families. 

The successful candidate needs to be a team player, have a genuine interest in both children and their parents from all cultural backgrounds, and be passionate about seeing children grow up to be the best they can be physically, emotionally and spiritually. This is a full-time position (7.30am–3.30pm, 5 days per week) – commencing as soon as possible, working term times only. 

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and be prepared to do a first aid course. Mandatory police vetting will need to be completed too.
