We just won’t stop growing – come and grow with us! We are seeking 7–8 learning coaches (teachers) for 2025 to teach the NZ Curriculum the way it was intended. We are constantly iterating our local curriculum and seek innovative, adaptable, ‘can-do’ thinkers, doers and do-different-ers who can collaborate within and across diverse teams.

Ideally you will need to visit and find out how things work to determine if our environment is right for you. Get in early! If you want to teach beyond the walls of the ‘classroom’, connect learners to the world around them, inspire kids, push them, form genuine relationships and challenge your own and our learners’ mindsets – then get in touch with us.

State your passions and strengths. Primary or secondary trained practitioners and PCTs are always welcome. Take the opportunity to join an energetic, incredible team of staff and over 1,400 learners across Y7–10.

Strengths in any combination of the following areas and skill-sets may be an advantage but should not exclude any applicant with any other strengths, passions and/or specialisms from submitting their application

  • Te reo Māori/Te Ao Māori/Mātauranga
  • Health and physical education
  • Mathematics and statistics (primary or secondary experience)
  • English and/or literacy (primary or secondary experience)
  • The arts – dance, music, drama and/or visual arts - state specialty discipline
  • Learning languages – Pacific languages and cultures an advantage
  • Sciences – state field of expertise
  • Technologies – hard materials – building and construction, soft materials, food and hospitality; digital technologies – VR/AR, coding; AI and emerging techs.

Application form and further information available here.

Commencing 20 January 2025.
