We are seeking a kaiako for our Y7–8 composite immersion class. This role involves 16 hours of homeroom teaching, covering te reo Matatini, Pāngarau, Tikanga ā Iwi, Hauora, and te reo Māori.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for te reo Māori and its cultural practices and be actively engaged in using te reo as a primary medium of instruction. Additionally, the successful applicant should demonstrate a willingness to collaborate closely with Mana whenua.
For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity for pastoral leadership within our Te Rerenga Kōtuku program for students in Y7-13. This role involves close collaboration with middle leadership teams, whānau, Hapū, and Iwi and will be remunerated with 2MUs.
