We invite passionate, trained RTLB or experienced NZ fully registered teachers who aspire to be an RTLB as a future career, to join the Hauraki RTLB Cluster.
Start of term 4 (negotiable).
Full-time permanent 1MU + SDA.
This position is based in our Thames office.
The successful applicant will have:
Extensive experience in education.
Proven skills in supporting students with diverse needs in inclusive settings.
Experience and/or ability to work across Y1–10.
Commitment to ongoing professional growth, including successfully completing the mandatory postgraduate training in specialist teaching.
Commitment to engaging with whānau/families.
Sound ICT skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Commitment to tangata whenua and Te Tiriti o Waitangi partnership in Aotearoa and practise and develop the use of te reo and tikanga Māori.
Commitment to becoming culturally competent with diverse Pacific learners.
Experience working collaboratively with others from a strength-based perspective.
A full driver’s licence and be willing to use their own vehicle for work purposes
A degree qualification or higher.
A current NZ practising certificate.
Must love to make a difference in a child’s life.
