We are seeking an enthusiastic kaiako with a good understanding of literacy and numeracy at the junior level to join our team. We have great tamariki, supportive colleagues, and whānau who want the best for their tamariki. The successful applicant will have the ability to establish warm relationships with tamariki and whānau and be passionate about ensuring that our 5-year-olds continue to enjoy school and have the best start to their primary school years.

The position involves teaching a class of Y0–1 students who started school in terms 1–2, while their current teacher will be teaching the new incoming 5-year-olds. It is a fixed-term position with the start date to be confirmed (ideally beginning of term 3), and continuing until the end of the year to cover roll growth.
