Central Kids is a party to the Kindergarten Teachers', Head Teachers’ and Senior Teachers’ Collective Agreement (KTCA). Salary ranges from $59,027 to $99,216 depending on experience, with 6 weeks of annual leave granted to all kaiako.

We are looking for a dedicated, knowledgeable kaiako who:
is a strong advocate for tamariki
understands Te Tiriti o Waitangi based partnerships with tamariki and whānau
promotes and integrates bicultural practices and incorporates te reo me ōna tikanga Māori into everyday activities and interactions
has an awareness of the culture of child protection and the rights of tamariki
adapts teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all tamariki, including those with higher education needs
is proficient in assessment, planning and evaluation
is a skilled communicator
is able to work within a team dedicated to supporting the social and emotional growth of tamariki
is willing to create and maintain strong relationships with the wider community and outside agencies
demonstrates a growth mindset.
Requirements for this role:
ECE qualified (minimum Level 7)
hold current practising certificate and first aid certification
